Land Department
ARI provides a variety of land support services that are designed to assist our clients in focusing on their short and long-term exploration and production goals. As our satisfied clients can attest to, outsourcing land work to ARI leads to a reduction of tedious in-house administrative, technical, and clerical work.

Our full-time staff can serve your company’s needs on either a permanent or a weekly, monthly, or project-long basis. Whether your company requires a knowledgeable source for an integration of recently acquired properties or an audit of data from a previously input acquisition, ARI’s land department has been handling a wide array of projects at a variety of experience levels for over a decade. In addition, ARI’s land department offers its clients 24/7 remote access to all their records via our scanning and server applications and utilizes all of the latest software packages employed throughout the oil and gas industry.

Lease Records Services:

  • Input leases onto data system; either ARI’s integrated Petrocomp software system or remotely onto the client’s system.
  • Scan leases for easy access by client
  • Review and analyze leases for vital clauses and obligations 
  • Prepare reports from system such as Acreage Inventory or Exhibit “A”s for assignments or custom reports as needed by client
  • Research title opinions for curative requirements. Obtain documentation for curative
  • Research for mineral and company net acreage. Calculate GWI, NRI, ORRI on a lease basis
  • Review Chain of Title to confirm ownership
  • Research well information using the Internet to setup producing leases
  • Prepare leasehold ownership plats
  • Organize and/or prepare lease record files
  • Order recorded documents through county clerks or abstract companies
  • Process leases for payment
  • File instruments of record


Division Order Services:

  • Verify interest and prepare division orders for execution
  • Research, calculate and prepare division of interests for producing wells
  • Research and prepare burden breakdown spreadsheets 
  • Review and research Division Order Title Opinions for requirements
  • Obtain items needed for release of funds in suspense
  • Prepare OCC filings for eschewed funds
  • Prepare and/or furnish documents needed to satisfy any requirements
  • Audit production for Overriding Royalty ownership’s to insure 100% funds received from all WI owners.
